When I was training, I was told that I needed to have therapy myself before I could qualify. I remember sitting there wondering how I was supposed to find fifty pounds every month on top of my tuition fees. That experience stayed with me, and it’s why I promised myself that once I graduated, I would create an accessible space for students who might be facing the same barriers.
